Description: Fossil fuels have powered the UK since early in the 1700’s - first with coal and town gas, then oil, and now methane gas. How can switching to hydrogen help to emit less carbon, whilst keeping cookers and home heaters similar to now, and not digging up every street? The world’s first conversion of houses to hydrogen should start during 2021 in South Fife, using green hydrogen, and should show the benefits and difficulties of home-grown renewable fuel.
