Description: | 250 years after the Industrial Revolution, there is now a worldwide race towards the Quantum Technology revolution. The UK is a frontrunner in this area with a programme set to reach £1bn. Four national hubs have been established to drive forward quantum computing, communication, imaging and sensing. This talk will introduce the work of the Sensors and Timing Hub, take some of the “spookiness” out of quantum and illustrate how quantum sensors might change our lives in the future. |
